Why did my free translations run out?+
The free tier includes 50 auto-translations on a rolling 24-hour window. Manual translate (tapping 文A on a message) is always free and unlimited. Upgrade from the popup for unlimited auto-translate.
The popup buttons stopped responding — what do I do?+
This can happen after WhatsApp Web switches themes and heavily changes the page. Tap the ⟳ reload button in the top-right of the popup, or refresh the WhatsApp Web tab.
I upgraded but it still shows the free version.+
It updates automatically within 5 minutes in the background, or instantly if you close and reopen the popup. If it's been longer than that, send us a message below.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Open the extension popup while signed in and tap "Manage subscription" — it cancels instantly, no email needed. Full refund if it's within 7 days of a charge; email j@jaydev.ai for that.
What's God Mode?+
God Mode replaces every message with its translation directly (instead of showing it below the original) — hover any bubble to peek at the original text.
Does it work on WhatsApp mobile or desktop app?+
Language Translator for WhatsApp is a Chrome extension for WhatsApp Web (web.whatsapp.com) only.
