I'm Jaydev Sachdeva. I live in Toronto, I help kids take their first steps by day, and I ship small, useful software at night. If a resume brought you here, good. This page is everything the bullet points leave out.

At a robotics company where children who were told they might never walk are now past 160 million steps. I run the business side. The goosebumps are a bonus.

Showing everyday people they can build with AI. No CS degree, no permission slip. Just an idea and one free afternoon.
The current obsession
VeriGiving.
When someone dies, the people around them want to help and have no safe way to do it. Fundraising platforms hand the money to whoever started the campaign. That is why memorial scams work, and why asking for help feels humiliating at the worst moment of a family's life.
VeriGiving takes the person out of the middle. A verified business issues a real invoice, the community pays it together, and every dollar settles directly with the business. Nobody has to be trusted, because nobody is holding anything. It starts with funeral homes, in Canada.
Nobody should need this. People do. So I'm building it.

How I got here
Built in Delhi. Rebuilt in Toronto.
I grew up in New Delhi and crossed the world to Toronto in 2019. Somewhere between an engineering degree and a decade of business I found my actual job: taking things apart. Systems, processes, stubborn problems. Then putting them back together so they work for the humans inside them.
What gets me out of bed isn't software. It's the moment a person realizes they can build. I've watched someone go from “tech isn't for me” to shipping their own working tool in a single afternoon. That look on their face is the most renewable energy source I know.
And the number I'm proudest to stand near: children's first steps. Millions of them, in living rooms across 34 countries. I've built dashboards my whole career. No dashboard will ever top that one.
